"A little Dutch"

This is Dutch, he is 6 months old and as cute as he can be. I photographed Dutch last week and he did very well. He was a little testy as the end of the shoot, as most 6 month old children tend to get. But I was able to get many great images of Dutch before hand. This is one of my favorites from the shoot.

Warehouse Thanksgiving

I have been fairly busy as of late, mostly shooting portraits. This image is of my stepbrother Ben. This is one of my favorites form the shoot on Thanksgiving day. I shot several images at my house, before going out to this abandoned warehouse. My step mother is having a difficult time choosing the ones that she wants to print. So I must have done a good job.

"Innocent Orchard"

I love this portrait image taken during a session with Dakota Joy in a fruit orchard. Children are only innocent when you're not paying attention. And this is exactly how I got this image, I waited until she wasn't paying attention to me, and then I snapped it. Candid shots are always the best, in my humble opinion. You can truly capture ones, personality or thought, without contaminating it with, "smile, look at me, lift your chin", or other ridiculous phrases that I hate to admit come out of my mouth from time to time.

Swingers

I have recently photographed many schools in the Greenville area for a commercial job I was working on. And though the assignment hasn't been very exciting, it has given me a chance to create a few fine art images for myself. I've posted one here from a playground at one of the schools. I've entitled it "Swingers", just a little play on words.

This is a silhotte image of Josha, Francesca, Mindy, and Erica of CBT. Congrats on the tour guys and see you next week.

Gone to the Dark Side

I can't believe I'm doing this. I've started to blog. I'm going to share my thoughts with everyone willing to read it. And in the end hopefully you will take something good away from the mumbo jumbo, I'm probably going to publish on this blog. In truth this is to help with my photography. I hope to create more traffic for my photography site, www.freelanceimagery.com. But I also hope to share my work with others that may not see it on a regular basis. There will be images to look at and maybe even a painting or two. I do hope you enjoy frequenting this blog to see what I may be up to next. But for now, I bid you good day and I hope you will check out the photos and paintings.
